The run consists primarily of swiftwater, punctuated by a nice series of standing waves as the river bends to the right beyond an island. Another lesser rapids lies about 1.5 miles further downstream.
An anonymous user provides: Ran the Ford at 1350cfs. There is a short class II rapid section about 20 minutes downstream from the US 2 bridge just after a small island. The rapid section is mostly swift water with some fun waves. Most of the run is flat water with some class I rapids. Total run time was 1 hour 25 minutes. I would not recommend running under 900cfs.
