Blackfoot River

Surprisingly high flows for the time of year thanks to our early heat

Ran Scotty Brown Bridge to Johnsrud over 3 days 2 nights in packrafts. I do not recommend putting a raft in at these flows but a lightweight inflatable did great! Got out to walk a handful of times but never for very long. All sections and rapids had enough flow to pick a line through. Highly recommend for a fun II+ adventure in the fall!

The Blackfoot attracts a large number of tubers, rafters, swimmers, anglers, and paddlers on hot summer days that drink a large number of canned beverages.
