Before the dam take out on river right and follow the deer path around the dam, below the dam is a large feeder eddie before 500 feet of class 1+, make sure not to miss the tiny bridge over the water pipe. if you miss it there is about another mile of class 1 ripples and a long greuling flat water paddle to potsdam.
