Take Out

there is many options for take out, pull off the river off the river on river left after the boogie water takes a left hand turn and find the path and walk to the car or you can go another half mile to the dam take out on river left and walk to the car or hit the class 2 after the dam and find the bridge over the water pipe.(north entrance on map) if you are next to a giant surge tank you went too far.

please take all the information on the class V stuff that I added with a grain of salt as I am a class II boater. starting off looking at the falls was absloutly menecing but cool boogie water below was what we where here for. we walked down to the river just down stream of the view point of the falls with the goal to paddle to clarkson campus. the first 2000 feet were really nice class 2, then there was flat water till sugar flow where we played around with the ice still on the lake. following that we put into the eddie below the sugar flow dam where one person in our group flipped and and swam in the flat water back to the shore 5 feet away. once re oriented we paddled the 500 feet of class 1-2 before passing the take out mentioned in the discriptio and following the river down into the class 1 where we wheel chaired for about half a mile. once on the resivour the wind picked up the sun went down, and we slowly paddled back to the car in town in complete darkness. NOTE all pictures taken were the day before at 3160 cfs, I forgot the actual level of the water when I was going down.
