From the power company reports, there are two generators each with 434 CFS capacity, thus the total capacity in the plant is 868 CFS. All flows above that will result in water through the bypass. Unknown whether the plant always operates at full capacity when flows allow. Drainage area at the dam is 759 square miles. The USGS gauge on South Fork Flambeau River Near Phillips reports drainage as 609 square miles, so flow here *might* (on average) be about 1.25 times that gauge reading.
