Whitewater opportunities on the North Fork Rogue occur with spill during the spring, during periods of plant maintenance, and over two scheduled days every August and in September on Labor Day weekend. For the two-day releases, the first day is set at 250 cfs and the second day is set at inflow up to 450 cfs. Spill amounts may vary +-35 cfs due to the imprecise nature of the spill gate controls. PacifiCorp will make a good faith effort to release the target amounts on the date and time specified. Additional information on flows and operations can be found on the PacifiCorp Rogue River Flows webpage.
