American Whitewater negotiated releases on Idaho’s Class IV-V Black Canyon of the Bear River, and works to schedule them with other stakeholders each year. On scheduled days, flows of 900 cfs or inflow, whichever is greater, will be provided on each day. Between adjoining release days, night-time flows of 200 cfs will be maintained.
