A Celebration of Paddlesports Around the World

It’s WET, it’s WILD, it’s BLAZING PADDLES! Silver Moon Kayak Company will be hosting their fourth annual event featuring a select and diverse group of films from the National Paddling Film Festival on April 18th, at the Glacier High School Performance Hall at 7 p.m.
For 25 years the volunteers of the National Paddling Film Festival in Kentucky have strived to make the audience’s video presentations and viewing experiences the very best possible. The festival continues to be the best and most recognized film competition supporting river conservation in the world. Join Silver Moon Kayak Company on this visual feast of some of the best paddlesports video competition as it travels to Kalispell, Montana as part of the world tour! The films will cover action, humor, documentary and environmental categories.
This will be an evening full of high quality films with a common element—having fun on or in the water. Combining silliness, insight, humor, tragedy, drama and passion with fast-paced action, incredible scenery and culture this film festival will take you around the globe, and for only $11 you can ride shotgun along for the action!
Tickets will be $11 in advance and $13 at the door. Tickets are available at Books West in Kalispell, Runner Up Sports in downtown Whitefish, and at Silver Moon Kayak Company at 1215 North Somers Road. Show starts promptly at 7 P.M. Many door prizes will be given away, including a free whitewater kayak! A portion of the proceeds will go to American Whitewater, a national organization whose mission is to conserve and restore America’s water resources and to enhance opportunities to enjoy them safely. We hope you will join us in this visual paddlesports feast and celebration of human powered watercraft.
