Clif Bar and American Whitewater have teamed up to promote river stewardship and safety efforts in paddling clubs.
American Whitewater and Clif Bar are pleased to announce the 6th annual Clif Bar Flowing Rivers Campaign, pledging $2,500 to American Whitewater Affiliate Clubs for river stewardship work. Funding for this very effective program is provided by Clif Bar.
American Whitewater Affiliate Clubs have the opportunity to apply for one of two $1,250 grants. Grants will be distributed to clubs for projects that promote river stewardship, conservation, access and/or safety education on our nation’s rivers. This program provides Club Affiliates with the seed money necessary to implement programs in their backyards.
Each of American Whitewater’s Affiliate Clubs will receive an application for this year’s funding. Please take this opportunity to improve a local access, conservation, or safety issue in your region.

- Education nature trails
- River Access Improvements
- Safety education funding
- Clinic programs
Affiliate Clubs are encouraged to browse through AW’s online Stewardship Toolkit for a variety of project ideas and suggestions.

Applications must be received by mail or email, at AW no later than June 1, 2008 at 5:00 pm. Awards will be announced in July 2008.
