ON SITE FOOD &BEVERAGES – come & eat dinner after you paddle.

 

CAMPING:

§        Camping is available on the festival grounds Thursday,Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

§        $5 per person/night

§        Dogs discouraged in campground–$5 per dog/night (nokidding!). All dogs must be on a leash at all times. You must clean up afteryour dog. We are on a kid’s play area.

§        No reservations.

§        First come, first served. We sold out last year soarrive early.

§        Prime Directive: Don’t pee on your neighbor’s tent.

 

CAMPING AND FESTIVALRULES:

§        No beer sold on premises. People bringing their ownshould do so discreetly — i.e., cans in those neoprene beer holders or incups.

§        Anyone makes trouble, we hunt them down and kill them.

§        Dogs discouraged at festival. $5 festival entry fee fordogs (again, no kidding!) All dogs must be on a leash at all times. You mustclean up after your dog. We are on a kid’s play area.

§        The managers of the County Memorial Park where thefestival is held will be very alert to the “no glass” rule this year.The fields we camp and festival on are playing fields the rest of the time andthe park managers are very concerned (as we all should be) about the possibilityof serious injury to someone using the playing field if broken glass is leftbehind.

§        So NOGLASS…USE CANS!!

§        NO FIRES!! Each fire costs AW $100.00


 

AW TAKE OUT AT PANTHER CREEK

  • Please follow these rules when using this irreplaceable resource:
    • No Fires
    • No Dogs
    • Absolutely no camping

§        When paddlers do not adhere to these rules at this takeout, which AW pays for, access is in jeopardy.

§        These rules are conditions by which the landownerallows AW to rent the field and violations seriously jeopardize its continueduse.

§        Do not be the reason why people can no longer take outand park here.

Breakfast served by the Ruritan Club

7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at On-SiteDining Hall. Dining Hall is located approx. 25 yds. inside the main entrance onthe left.

Teva AmateurUpper Gauley Rolling Rodeo presented by ACE Adventure Center.
