Idaho Rivers United Seeks Conservation Director

Idaho Rivers United is a medium-sized, grassroots-oriented river conservation organization with a dedicated donor base, a strong board of directors and a compelling organizational mission. The Conservation Director will report to and work closely with the Executive Director and other members of the management team. Primary responsibilities are to develop and implement river conservation programs, evaluate threats to Idaho’s rivers and opportunities to protect them and to supervise conservation staff and volunteers. In addition, the Conservation Director will assist the Executive Director with fund-raising efforts and developing budgets to help implement our projects.

Grassroots organizing skills, good communication skills, non-profit experience and a working knowledge of major environmental laws required. The position is full-time, based out of Boise, with some travel required. Competitive salary and benefits.
