I know this has been posted before, but I hope this re-posting will save some one a ticket. US 19 is a four lane divided highway that carries a 65 mph speed limit for most of its’ length from I-77 in Beckley to I-79. The main exceptions are around Fayetteville and Summersville where the speed limit drops faster than Tao Berman to 50 mph. The local constabulary and the WV highway patrol do patrol constantly. As far as I know, all they do is nab the actual speeders which is not hard to do. So, in my experience if you are alert to the speed limit changes and do not exceed +5 mph over the speed limit, you should be OK.
