In 2003 the NPFF had multiple volunteers armed with video cameras at Pillow Rock and Sweets Falls rapids on the Gauley river, WV the Saturday of the Gauley Festival shooting video of every private boater and rafter. This footage premiered at the 2003 Gauley Festival and has now been edited into 60 minutes of action packed whitewater fun and carnage and you can get your copy FREE at the 2004 Gauley Festival.

The National Paddling Film Festival is a non-profit event to benefit river conservation celebrating 22 years of raising funds for river conservation. The NPFF has now donated over $100,000 to American Whitewater, American Canoe Association, West Virginia Rivers Coalition, and other river conservation efforts. The volunteers of the Bluegrass Wildwater Association wish to heartily thank all who join and support AW – the only orgainization working 24/7 for whitewater boaters and the rivers they love to paddle.
