What: An evening to benefit American Whitewater…
Vistit with Eric Jackson, listen to Tishmango and enjoy food and beverages!
Why: To raise money for the organization and learn more about the work AW is doing on southeastern rivers:
- Guaranteed water in the Tuckaseegee and Nantahala (including the Upper Nanty)
- Working with the USFS to determine a plan for the two year study period of the boating ban on Chattooga Headwaters
- Working to secure whitewater releases on the Catawba in South Carolina
- Secured releases on the Cheoah
- Secured releases on the Tallulah
When: November 4th at 7:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Where: Hooked on the Outdoors Office
(4830 Rivergreen Parkway, Ste. 150, Duluth, GA, see map)
Cost: $25 dollars a person. Friends, clubs and businesses can sponsor a table of eight for $200.
Tickets at the door will be $30. Check with your favorite paddling shop to fill out a form for CC payment.
