Party on the Cheoah

The Cheoah River once again roars back to life this weekend with its first weekend release of the 06 season and AW is getting ready to celebrate.  April 8th American Whitewater is hosting a party on the banks of the river at Tapoco Lodge.

The evening starts with a sold out fundraising dinner and continues with a river revival party in the Quanset Hut of Tapoco Lodge. The evening will feature film premiers of Wave Sport’s new promotional film, YGP’s latest release Dynasty, and LVM’s issue number 18.

What would a good party be without some great music? AW had so much fun with Big City Sunrise at last year’s Gauley Festival we had to bring them back for another bash. American Whitewater is hosting a membership drive to give folks the opportunity to give back to the organization that brought the Cheoah River back to life.  The membership drive will include membership goodie bags that include: Clif Bars, LVM DVD’s, CD’s, American Whitewater Journals, Kayak Session Magazines, and NRS Straps.
