AW will be hosting a small celebration of whitewater boating and river conservation in downtown Missoula, MT on Wednesday, April 4th, 2007. Paddlers are first invited to the Kettlehouse Brewery for a round of incredible local brews from 5-8pm. The Kettlehouse will generously donate 50 cents to American Whitewater from each pint sold.
At 8:30 pm, a block away at the Roxy Theatre (on Higgins Street), we’ll be hosting the premiere of the most recent Lunch Video Magazine. The LVM video premiere will feature footage of first descents, paddling in brazil, the Nile Freestyle Festival, the "are you gonna eat that?" wipe out section, and lots more. LVM has a really distinctive and fun style of shooting and telling the paddling story, and is a really good time. The movie is free, but we are asking for a $5 donation.
AW memberships will be available at the event, and proceeds will be split with the Missoula Whitewater Association.
