American Whitewater and Clif Bar are pleased to announce the 8th annual Clif Bar Flowing Rivers Campaign, pledging $2,500 to American Whitewater Affiliate Clubs for river stewardship work. Funding for this program is provided by Clif Bar.
AW Affiliate Clubs have the opportunity to apply for one of two $1,250 grants. Grants will be distributed to clubs for projects that promote river stewardship, conservation, access, and/or safety education on our nation’s rivers.
Current American Whitewater Affiliate Clubs will receive a Flowing Rivers Campaign grant application packet by mail and email. Affiliate Clubs can also choose to download the Flowing Rivers Campaign Grant Application. If your Affiliate Club membership has lapsed, you need to renew your Club’s membership prior to submitting your grant application by calling 1-866-262-8429.
Applications must be submitted via email to jeff@americanwhitewater.org no later than July 31, 2010 by midnight PST. Awards will be announced in August 2010.
