American Whitewater is pleased to recognize Benjamin Moore as our March Volunteer of the Month.
Ben has been working hard on the removal of Harvell Dam on the Appomatox River in Virginia. Harvell Dam is the bottommost dam on the river and its removal would open a huge amount of habitat to fish passage. Ben has been doing a great job getting many people involved in this removal effort including local residents, boating clubs and politicians.
We hope you’ll join us in thanking Ben for all his hard work!
