River Advocacy Training Series (CO)

Join American Whitewater for our River Advocacy Training Series. We are hosting a series of River Advocacy sessions across Colorado during February and into March. The series will feature the following events:

The goal of these events is to give AW members tools to engage in river advocacy issues and empower our members to take action on maintaining the healthy rivers and recreation opportunities that make our state’s water resources so valuable. The evening will include a free meal, workshops to write phone scripts and letters, opportunities to meet with state legislators and more. We will be giving a brief stewardship update on our projects around Colorado and end the night with a drawing for some great prizes. Capacity is limited at our venues so please RSVP through the registration links on our event pages. We will also be taking precautions and following the current CDC guidelines for public gatherings at each event. Thank you for your continued support in our stewardship work and we look forward to seeing you at the events!

*Disclaimer

Unfortunately, with the current state of the pandemic and how quickly cases and CDC guidelines are changing day to day, we are planning backup virtual events for our in-person events on the chance we are unable to safely host them in-person. We are asking for all participants to bring proof of vaccination.
