Was made aware of a rafting related fatality at Tunnel Shoot on the Middle Fork American River. Details are sketchy and this is second hand information but a boat with commercial rafters dumped some of their crew at Tunnel Shoot on Sat. July 14. The guide reconnoitered his group by counting heads of rafters and getting everyone back in the raft. It was as that time one of the rafters starting experiencing problems. CPR was utilized but failed to same this woman. No more details at this time.
