Description

7/9/1994 Woodall Shoals, Section IV At 1.6 feet, six young men put in at 76 in two rafts. This was the first Chattooga trip for two who nearly drowned. The second raft with three people flipped in the center of the hydraulic. One person pushed off the raft and flushed out immediately. The other two were in the hydraulic until they lost consciousness and then flushed out. One was reported to have had glazed eyes and no pulse. Both were revived and transported to the hospital where they recovered and were released a couple of days later. Source: USFS
