https://www.stillwatercountynews.com/content/tragedy-water?fbclid=IwAR3iSTPU_rFnTxjDlRfGhSIReRwoz38fvcc00txkF8IvNPn_X9RwbSaytoY The initial incident was reported at 1:11 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, when dispatch received a call of an overturned raft at the Beartooth Ranch on the Stillwater River, south of Columbus. A total of four adults and one child were in the raft, with all but the one woman recovered. A massive search was launched that included multiple agencies and multiple counties as authorities believed that fast-flowing water from runoff quickly carried Freeman to the Yellowstone River.
