Non-Witness Narrative by (do not publish name) on 2012-06-07 (DO NOT PUBLISH): http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2012/06/06/gahanna-man-21-dies-from-canoeing-injuries.html I only learned about this because the victim was a relative of a friend. This will likely be treated as a paddling death by the media, though it probably is better classified as a “diving into shallow water” death.
