Jeff Papin Beaver Creek April 15th MACKfest is a whitewater festival on 7 rivers in Eastern Ontario. Kinda like Canadian ALF. River is north of Kingston, Ontario. Small and fast. Jeff was caught in a strainer that was partially submerged in a fairly innocuous narrower section of the river. I believe he swam into it but really am not sure. Our group arrived to see others performing CPR on Jeff but I understand he had been underwater a while.
