Andrea White heard about this accident from the head of Boating Education at TWRA and later got the details confirmed from the head of Law Enforcement for TWRA. A 19 year old and 2 minors went kayaking on Conasauga Creek in Polk County Tennessee on January 1. Life jackets in the boats but not wearing them. Went over a low head dam. The 2 minors were flushed out but the 19 year old got caught in the hydraulic. The 19 year old snd 2 minors were members of the local Mennonite community.
