Nordheimer Campground

Nordheimer Campground is located beside the Wild and Scenic Salmon River, four miles downstream of Forks of Salmon along Salmon River Road. The Nordheimer River Access is located at the back of the campground. Both are part of Klamath National Forest but are managed by the Six Rivers National Forest. The main campground has 12 sites with picnic tables and is first, first-served with an $8/night fee. It is open year-round. The campground has trash cans, vault toilets, and a public phone but no potable water or electricity. There is no cell service in the area. There is an interpretive panel at the front of the campground that has information about whitewater recreation, including a detailed map of the common boating runs in the watershed. There are also four group camp areas that can be reserved online in advance.
