The New Haven Race has been a staple of the northeast whitewater scene since 2009. Born as an event for locals to challenge each other for bragging rights, the race has grown into a region-wide attraction. The current day version sees paddlers from all over the northeastern US, Quebec and southern Ontario show up for a shot at the podium. While it has varied in format, course length, and water levels, what always remains a guarantee is that it will be a day of excellent whitewater with a great community well attended by spectators from across the region.
