On July 2 four commercial rafts flipped on the Rossaco Canyon run of the North Fork of the Yuba at a high level. When the survivors were pulled in and assembled, a head count was taken and one person was missing. A search team turned up the victim’s life vest and helmet; the body was recovered the next day. A broken leg, combined with the missing gear, indicates that a foot entrapment probably occurred.
