Non-Witness Narrative by (do not publish name) on 2010-04-13 (okay to publish): Story heard second hand. Carr was a guide on the trip. In a moderate class III-IV rapid he lost two customers. Customers were retrieved with a throw bag thrown from the boat. Once customers were in boat Carr returned focus to guiding raft in the rapid. However, rope was still dragging behind boat. Rope became stuck mid-stream. Lose end wrapped around Carr and pulled him out of boat, entrapping him. Neither Carr nor the first responder had a knife. By the time a knife was found, Carr was unresponsive. He was cut loose and washed downstream. His body was not found for 3-4 hours.
