06-27-10 3 die in canoe accident in northwest SD Butte Co. Sheriff Fred Lamphere says 3 people from Rapid City died in a canoeing accident on the Belle Fourche River. Lamphere says the canoe went over a dam and was sucked into the turbulent waters below late Sun. morning (06-27). The victims were identified as 38-y/o Jeramy Rogers, 11-y/o daughter Sierra Rogers and 26-y/o Andrew Korth, a family friend.
