She passed away Saturday as the result of a canoeing accident on the Caddo River. Monday that MCSO received a call Saturday regarding an overturned canoe and a subject missing in the water. The person was later identified as Rebekah Bryant, a 2020 graduate of Caddo Hills High School. Sheriff White reported that the person was underwater approximately 10 minutes before 1st Responders could get to her. It was reported that she had been pinned under a tree in swift water. Once she was removed from the river she was transported by medical helicopter to the hospital where she passed away a few hours later. A memorial service was held for Rebekah Wednesday afternoon
