Yes, he was pulled out below the park, but to be accurate, the location of him going unconscious was in the play park. This section is definitely class IV, possibly IV+ and a difficult place to swim. The 2 people were planning to do the easy milk run but added on the 2 mile section from the BV top of play park to the milk run. They didn’t know about how the high water causes the lower part of the play park to turn into class IV and be particularly difficult for pack rafts.
