A 70 year old man who was a guest on a commercial rafting trip drowned after a short swim at grumpys rapid just below the put-in for the Middle Ocoee. His guide pulled him back in the boat quickly, but he was unresponsive. EMT’s responded quickly and took over CPR, but they could not bring him back.
