There was a tubing death in the Satans Kingdom Gorge of Conneticuts Farmington River. At normal summer flows this stretch is rated class II. Newspapers reported that the victim, Mary Neville, 57, was wearing a life vest when she disappeared suddenly in fast water. She was held under for 15 minutes before being released.
