The Brown Dog Band includes three kayakers and while the core of their sound is based on bluegrass, the Brown Dogs often leak and lapse into a variety of other musical styles. As the band is composed of young chronic grad students and old guys who want to quit their jobs, they tend to have a lot of fun when they play and hopefully will infect the audience as well.
