As reported by the Outdoor Industry Association, “the House Resources Committee took up and passed legislation extending the fee demo program for NPS, Forest Service, BLM, Fish and Wildlife Service, and Bureau of Reclamation for 10 years. The Senate passed a National Parks-only bill earlier this year. It is unclear if Congress will conclude work on this issue this session, although it is possible that appropriators will attempt to include it in the Interior Appropriations Bill as it moves through the process.”
