In the fall of 2005 AW had a "House Party" in Atlanta, thanks to Mary Beth Kinney. With Mary Beth leading the charge, the event turned out to be an enormous success. She worked closely with Jeff Espy at Hooked on the Outdoors and the Atlanta paddling community came out in full force to support AW’s work. From picking up the tables to putting out the food, MB was the key to making this a great social evening and a successful fundraising endevour for AW. Never mind her inclination towards managing logistics, she was always doing things with an amazing amount of energy and positive attitude towards furthering the efforts of the local paddling community.
Thanks to all that made the Atlanta House Party a great time. We look forward to another one later this year. If AW is lucky, Mary Beth will still be willing to take it on!!!
