The Sang Run gauge was recently vandalized and now does not read accurately with the Friendsville gauge. The Sang Run gauge reads about 2 inches low so a 640 cfs release or a level of 2 ft now reads 1.75 on the gauge. The discrepancy has the potential to mislead paddlers on the actual river level.
