The Appalachian Wilderness Medicine Conference will be held at the Canaan Valley Resort and Conference Center in Davis, West Virginia on August 11-13. The program, designed for doctors and emergency care providers, will feature lectures and practical presentations on swiftwater rescue, cave rescue, mountain bike injuries, hunting and ATV accidents, snake bites, and poisonous plants.
