American Whitewater is in Washington, DC today representing the paddling community as part of River Action Day. Several Wild and Scenic River bills are being considered that are of interest to the paddling community and we encourage you to take some time to speak up for your favorite rivers. With over 100 activists from across the country taking part in the event coordinated by our friends at American Rivers, this is a great opportunity to bring attention to protecting our last great wild rivers. Phone calls or emails to your member of Congress will be particularly effective today or any time this week.
