Boating Study Releases TENTATIVELY planned South Yuba and Canyon Creek

The following study releases are being TENTATIVELY planned for Friday, May 8th; Saturday, May 9th; and Sunday, May 10th. This information will be updated on Monday, May 4th.

The ability of PG&E and NID to provide these flows is contingent on two factors:

1. Inflows to reservoirs – If inflows to reservoirs change due to unforeseen events, the flows could be cancelled.

2. Water temperature – If temperatures in the South Yuba go above 13 degrees C, signaling the possible commencement of Foothill Yellow Legged Frog breeding, boating study flows from Bowman and Spaulding could be cancelled.

AW will meet with PG&E and NID on Monday, May 4 to get an update on plans for the release, and we will post the information that we receive at that time.
