It is my pleasure to formally thank Bob Taylor from Moosup, CT for his enormous contribution of time and effort at the 2001 Gauley Festival. Bob was one of the people responsible for handling all of the electrical wiring at the festival. Bob is a well-known paddling personality from Southern New England. He is respected for both his playboating and his river running prowess, but he is best known for his big mouth (he loves to talk, loudly) and his enormous appetite. Bob has been boating for over eight years and has been a member of American Whitewater for almost as long. Bob volunteers at the Deerfield River Festival, he is an organizer for the Tariffville Whitewater Rodeo and he also rides on an ambulance as a volunteer EMT. From one of your best friends and American Whitewater, thank you Bob.
