For everyone that has been eagerly awaiting the information regarding the replacement for the Tariffville Rodeo, we now have it. American Whitewater will be hosting a one-day freestyle event on the Black River in Watertown, NY. The event will take place on Saturday, May 4th, the weekend following the Teva Whitewater Extreme Games on the Moose River in Old Forge, NY. If necessary, May 5th will be reserved to accommodate a large competitive field. This event will serve as the Pro Am event for the Northeastern Regional Circuit of the Teva Tour. All athletes competing at this event will receive 50% more points than a non-Pro Am event. This event will be open to all Teva Tour registered athletes.

American Whitewater is excited to host this event with Teva and Perception as it takes advantage of an excellent play spot with enormous potential for hosting events. All expert and pro registrations will take place online, at active.com, between April 15th and the 29th. Beginner and sport athletes will be able to register both online and on-site at the event.
