National Paddling Film Festival organizers have presented $2,880 to American Whitewater from the proceeds of this year’s super successful event in Lexington, KY. The letter from Treasurer Rich Lewis states that the donation is “a token of our appreciation of your dedication and important work … on behalf of all concerned river citizens.” This past weekend on Gauley Festival Saturday, NPFF video geeks camped at Pillow Rock to document both grace and carnage, and showed hours of footage runs at the festival that evening. AW members could sign up to receive a CD of the runs in the mail: such a deal!
