The Access Toolbox has easy to use and easy to understand information about issues affecting river access throughout the United States. This toolbox, as the name implies, is designed to help you and our members protect and restore access to our nation’s rivers.
Some of the highlights include:
- Easy to understand summaries of state navigability and liability laws;
- Managing risk;
- Working with landowners;
- Congressional action guides;
- Guidelines for reducing visitor impacts through leave-no-trace actions;
- and more.
The Toolbox is a living document that will grow and be expanded throughout the year as we hear from you and add reports from previous issues of the AW Journal. Let us know what you think about the new site, how we can improve it to meet your needs, and other sources or types of information you think we should make available.
