Keith Jensen has been a stalwart volunteer for American Whitewater for years. He has been one of the organizers for the annual Canyon Creek Race that celebrates its availability for boater and, as an owner of Portland’s Alder Creek Kayak & Canoe, a supporter of American Whitewater’s events program, retailer of the journal and a critical member of our community, able to provide valuable perspective, from both a personal and business perspective. Last year he took the lead on the Sandy / Little Sandy Rivers that resulted in the agreement to decommission the Marmot Dam, an initiative that will restore spectacular resources close to Portland.
