As of the fall of 2010, there was a big log almost completely blocking the entrance to the Hwy. 2 culvert/tunnel...eddys may be scarce, in the approach at higher water levels.
At lower levels, it looked like it 'might' be possible to sneak around the river left side of the log, but it would be tight.
Scouting from Hwy. 2 would determine if that hazard still exists.
