Kayaker to add perspective

Note foam is a good 2-3 ft thick. The trees on the other side are at least 20ft high.

A fall to the kayaker's left is a good 20ft drop into the back wash of the dam. A fall to the right will land you in a shallow irrigation ditch. The folks in Tecolotito recommended carrying around the hill in the background. OSHA wasn't around when this dam was built.
