Conococheague (KAH-nuh-cuh-cheeg) Creek is a slow, meandering class I creek through MD and PA farmland. The C\&O canal at the mouth of the creek in Williamsport is the only currently watered aqueduct on the canal. The current flow setting is rated for the last 10 miles, but it can be run well above that in higher water levels.

Ran Martins Mill to Broadfording Rd. yesterday @ 4 ft. Great flow, no scraping at all. Was very easy and manageable the whole trip despite the swollen stream. The first mile we were moving at about 4 mph with minimum paddling. After the confluence with the West Branch, we slowed down to just under 3 mph, but still set a pretty good pace. 13 miles in about 4 hours. We did have one mandatory portage; the creek was completely blocked at the Old Cearfoss Bridge (right before the current Cearfoss Rd. Bridge). Portage was pretty simple, but a little steep. I wouldn't go out of my way to hit this stretch of water. There's nothing crazy or super unique about it, but it is nice! I'd run it often if I lived nearby.
