Salmon, North Fork

As of May 18, 2024, there are a number of other wood hazards on this run all the way from just below the put-in to not far above the take-out. There are at least 15 wood hazards in play and six or more of them require portaging. The wood situation here is very dynamic, so be always stay alert.

The North Fork Trail had yet to be maintained as of early May 18, 2024. There are lots of trees across the trail but they can be stepped over, ducked under, or walked around fairly easily.
